Strongest birds of prey12/11/2023 Other winged animals, such as insects and bats, may have the capability to lift an extremely light human, but they would be unable to sustain the weight in the air. Despite its size, the condor would not be able to lift a person off the ground. The Andean condor, for example, is the largest living bird of prey, with a wingspan of up to 10 feet and weighing up to 33 pounds. Though some birds, such as the Andean condor and the Harpy eagle, can weigh nearly as much as some humans, their wings are not strong enough to support the full weight of a human being. Unfortunately, no bird on earth has the capability to lift a human into the air. In general, therefore, larger eagles would likely win fights against smaller falcons, whereas smaller eagles may lose against larger falcons. However, if a small eagle were to face a large falcon, then the falcon might have the advantage, as its speed and agility would likely be enough to overpower the smaller eagle. With its greater size, strength and stamina, it would be able to overpower the falcon, and even if the falcon’s agility enabled it to avoid the eagle’s talons a few times, it would eventually tire out and be overpowered by the eagle. In a fight between a large eagle and a small falcon, it is likely the eagle would win. Generally, eagles tend to be bigger and more powerful than falcons, with larger talons designed to deliver more force when attacking.įalcons, on the other hand, tend to be smaller and lighter, but more agile and fast, making them better at chasing and killing smaller prey. It really depends on the exact species of eagle and falcon, since they can vary in size, strength, and agility.
